<p>In accordance with the present invention, the mobile terminal can be provided, comprising: a camera; a display unit for displaying an image inputted from the camera; and a control unit for performing, when receiving a first face image including face components required for authenticating a first user through the camera, authentication of the first user based on the first face image, and for performing, when receiving a second face image lacking a portion of face components required for authenticating the first user, authentication of a second user by using at least one component among face components that can be derived from the second face image. In addition, in accordance with the present invention, the controlling method of the mobile terminal can be provided, the controlling method comprising the steps of: receiving either a first face image or a second face image through a camera wherein the first face image includes face components required for performing a first user authentication, and the second face image lacks a portion of face components required for performing the first user authentication; displaying an image inputted from the camera; and performing, when receiving the first face image, authentication of the first user based on the first face image, and performing, when receiving the second face image, authentication of a second user by using at least one component among face components that can be derived from the second face image.</p> |
