The gearbox has shifted gears provided at a side of a drive and an output, respectively. A multiplication gear (92) includes a cam (72) that is arranged on a crown gear of a reduction gear (76). A clamp-like outlet (74) is provided with a sensing edge that grips a curve wall on the cam and is connected with a drive axle (30) conducting a movement for a movable cleaning unit. The curve wall is formed such that a cross-section length running in a cross-section plane of the cam by a center point of a cross-section form is uniformly long. An independent claim is also included for an electric toothbrush with a base body. |
