<p>The present disclosure discloses a method for creating a group, a method for exiting from a group and an apparatus, and belongs to the technical field of instant messaging. The method for creating a group includes: receiving a creating request for creating a target subgroup in which a group identifier of a target group which a client sending the creating request belongs to is carried; creating a target subgroup associated with the target group; and sending a subgroup identifier of the target subgroup to members of the target subgroup; wherein the members of the target subgroup constitute a subset of members of the target group. Thus, the problem in related technologies that the newly created group may include other members who do not belong to the target group, and thereby the server resource is wasted, is solved. Consequently, effects of saving the server resource may be achieved.</p> |
