<p>An attachment suitable for use with a hand held appliance such as a hair drying brush comprises a first part 150 and a second part 160. The first part 150 comprises a first end 32 and at least one plate 154 extending from the first end 32. The second part 160 comprises a second end 36 and at least one further plate 164 extending from the second end 36. When the first part 150 and the second part 160 are connected, at least two slots are formed between the plates 154 and 164, the at least two slots defining a fluid outlet for the attachment. The first end 302 of the attachment may comprise a fluid inlet. A supporting ring 152 may be provided for supporting the at least one plate 154. The supporting ring 152 may comprise at least one recess (156, fig.9a) for housing an end of the at least one further plate 164. The supporting ring 152 may additionally be a collar for attaching the attachment to the appliance. The ends of plates 154 may be received in recess 166 provided in second end wall 162. The first part of the attachment may include a supporting scaffold (170, fig.9a) located at or near a distal end to the first end of the first part of the attachment.</p> |
