The invention relates to a composition comprising: a complex of delphinidin and a sulfoalkyl ether-&bgr;-cyclodextrin and/or delphinidin and the salts thereof as a first component; and a tumour-necrosis factor related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) as a second component, for use in the treatment of malignant melanoma.
