<p>A retaining clip 1 for at least one elongate element 2, the retaining clip 1 being designed to encompass the elongate element 2. The retaining clip 1 comprises an outer component 5 and an inner component 6, the inner component 6 being arranged on an inner side 7 of the outer component 5 and connected to it in a firmly bonded fashion. The outer component 5 features a retraction space 8 for the inner component 6 on its inner side 7. The retraction space 8 can be in the form of a groove which is continuous in a circumferential direction of the outer component 5. The outer component 5 can be in the form of a circular ring with an opening 3 in the circumferential direction, which interrupts the circular ring.
