The present invention provides a method for converting a charging method of an electric vehicle, which enables electric charging between an electric vehicle and a charger to which different types of charging methods are applied, an apparatus thereof, and an electric vehicle charging system. The apparatus for converting a charging method of an electric vehicle includes: a combo interface unit; a vehicle demo interface unit; a protocol converting unit which converts a message based on a combo method into data based on a vehicle demo method, or converts the data based on the vehicle demo method into the message based on the combo method; and a control unit.
