<p>The present invention relates to a wheel drive device for an electric vehicle which allows a motor to be installed from the outside to the inside to simplify a trailing arm structure, and uses a bracket to simultaneously support a spring and a damper on the rear of a motor housing to freely set an installation location of the spring and the damper. The wheel drive device for an electric vehicle comprises: a motor to generate rotational power; a gear group connected to a rotational shaft of the motor; an output shaft connected to the gear group to rotate; a hub installed on an outer circumferential surface of the output shaft by using a nut; a motor cover connected to the hub by using a hub bearing; a motor housing to protect the motor; a trailing arm which is integrated into the motor housing and has a structure for mounting the motor from the outside to the inside of a vehicle; a bracket mounted on the trailing arm; a damper which is mounted on the bracket and gradually reduces vibration generated from a road surface; and a spring which is mounted on the bracket and prevents the vibration generated from the road surface from directly reaching a vehicle body.</p> |
