<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling handover in a wireless communication system, wherein the method, performed in a base station, for controlling handover of a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a message indicating a failure in a link connection between an adjacent base station and a mobile management entity (MME); and prohibiting the execution of handover, which requires the use of a link between the adjacent base station and the MME, thereby improving a handover success rate and decreasing a call drop rate.</p> |
