<p>The present invention relates to an energy storage system and a method for driving the same. The energy storage system according to the embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery system which includes at least one battery cell; and a power management system which charges the battery cell by using the power of a generating system and supplies the power of the battery cell and the power of the generating system to a load. The battery system further includes a battery management system which measures the temperature of the battery cell and outputs the temperature information of the battery cell. The power management system controls the charge power amount of the battery cell based on the temperature information of the battery cell in charging the battery cell.</p> |
