1. An image forming apparatus, comprising:
a main frame having an opening and includes a frame side first positioning part; and a cover rotatably supported by the main frame, the cover being rotatable between an opened position where the cover uncovers the opening and a closed position where the cover closes the opening, wherein the cover includes:
an exposure unit having a plurality of light emitting elements; anda holding member, holds the exposure unit, wherein the exposure unit includes:
a unit side first positioning part configured to be abutted to the frame side first positioning part, the unit side first positioning part is positioned in an auxiliary scanning direction between the main frame and the exposure unit when the unit side first positioning part contacts the frame side first positioning part; and a first engaging part having a curved surface, wherein the holding member has a first regulation part having a recessed portion in which the first engaging part is configured to be received, and wherein the exposure unit is movable in the auxiliary scanning direction with respect to the holding member as the first engaging part is disengaged from the first regulation part when the cover is located at the closed position, and wherein movement of the first engaging part in the auxiliary scanning direction is restricted as the first engaging part enters in the first regulation part and supported thereby when the cover is located at the opened position and the exposure unit is swingable about the first engaging part when the cover is located at the opened position.
