DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STORING DATA IN DISTRIBUTED STORAGE SYSTEM

A distributed data storage device is provided. The distributed data storage device comprises: a data division unit dividing data subject to a writing request from a client into data chunks including multiple data input/output unit blocks; an address conversion unit converting a first address generated for each of the data chunks into a second address, which is a global address; a storage node mapping unit mapping the second address and multiple storage nodes; and a data storage unit selecting a target storage node among the multiple storage nodes, and then storing the data chunks in the target storage node. The data storage unit does not store the data chunks in the multiple storage nodes, and sets a link between the data chunks pre-stored in the multiple storage nodes and the second address when a data chunk identical to the data chunks is pre-stored in the multiple storage nodes.
