The present invention relates to a structure supporting device capable of effectively absorbing shock due to a compression of a horizontal elastic body without eccentricity even if a horizontal load is applied at right angles to an upper structure in a state where the upper structure in a structure such as a bridge and the like generally moves due to temperature, creep, drying shrinkage, and the like. The present invention comprises: an upper plate; a fixated plate; a lower plate; an intermediate body; a vertical elastic body; and horizontal elastic body assemblies having a horizontal elastic body and a central rod penetrating the horizontal elastic body to support the horizontal elastic body such that the horizontal elastic body is compressed along a central rod to absorb shock when the upper plate moves in an axial direction of the central rod with the upper structure. Guide slots are lengthily formed on surfaces of the fixated plate facing an inner end of the horizontal elastic bodies at right angles to the axial direction of the central rods. The central rods are fixated in an intermediate body after the inner end thereof is entered into the fixated plate through the guide slots. As such, when the upper plate moves at right angles to the axial direction of the central rods with the upper structure, only the upper plate moves in a state where the central rods and the horizontal elastic bodies do not move with the upper plate to fixate a position of the intermediate body. |
