The present invention relates to a treatment method of a kapok fiber material wherein the treatment method enables an easy recovery of a hollow section from a kapok fiber material having the hollow section which is pressed due to compression such as a pressure package or the like, thereby expressing superior characteristics of the kapok fiber material effectively. The treatment method of the kapok fiber material may include a step of immersing a compressed kapok fiber raw material in a treatment solution mixed with a hydrophilic auxiliary and an organic solvent.
