A breath testing apparatus comprising: an intake for receiving an air sample; a mechanism for analyzing said sample; a mechanism for displaying results of said sample; said mechanism for displaying results of said sample comprising a graphical user interface menu comprising, a mechanism for displaying a tutorial of how to use said breath testing apparatus; a setup menu, a video training tutorial carried on said breath testing and sampling apparatus, a calendar function, a graph data function, a run/calibrate function; and a mechanism for storing, uploading and analyzing patient data;
said run/calibrate function further comprising an interface showing run and calibration modes for H2, CH4, and CO2; said mechanism for displaying results of said sample further providing recommendations for malabsorption and bacterial overgrowth testing, including dosing data and substrates; said mechanism for displaying results of said sample further providing instructions for steps to be performed separate and apart from the apparatus, said instructions comprising patient diet instructions.
