<p>The present invention relates to a coupling device for a vehicle which uses a cover plate to simplify a support structure for a reaction force in response to a pressing force of a piston to shorten time for transferring rotational torque to improve responsiveness, and supports a drum with the cover plate, not a cantilever to resist vibration and NVH. The coupling device for a vehicle comprises: a shaft to transfer rotational power; a plate clutch spline-coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the shaft; a piston which moves by an oil pressure generated from a pump; a first needle bearing to transfer a moving force of the piston; a press plate to transfer the moving force of the first needle; a friction clutch which crosses the plate clutch and transfers the rotational power when comes into contact with the plate clutch by a pressure of the press plate; a drum spline-coupled to the friction clutch; a second needle bearing and a ball bearing connected to the drum; a cover plate connected to the second needle bearing and the ball bearing; and a coupling case connected to the cover plate.</p> |
