<p>The present invention relates to a method to control a certificate by using an automatic response service. According to the present invention, the method includes the first step which controls the certificate of a client so that an active state of the certificate is maintained; the second step which verifies the validity of the certificate when a transaction request is made based on the certificate; the third step which confirms whether the verified certificate is active or inactive; the fourth step which confirms connection between an automatic response service (ARS) based communication channel and a preset wireless terminal of the client if the certificate is inactive; the fifth step which confirms a request for making the inactive request active by decoding signal data corresponding to a dual tone multiple frequency (DTMF) signal, inputted through the wireless terminal, in response to an ARS voice announcement using the communication channel; and the sixth step which controls the certificate so that the certificate becomes active based on the request, confirmed through the communication channel. According to the present invention, unless the certificate is activated before a transaction request of the client by using the communication channel connected to the wireless terminal of the client, the certificate keeps being inactive, and therefore, an illegal transaction of a third person (or hacker) using the certificate is prevented.</p> |
