An electric bicycle comprises a rear axle frame supporting a rear axle; a front axle frame supporting a front axle; an upper frame connecting the rear and front axle frames; and a battery pack insertion part which has a space for installing a battery pack inside the upper frame, and into which the battery pack is inserted from a rear wheel. When the battery pack is installed, a frame embedding part of the battery pack is inserted into the battery pack insertion part of the upper frame, and therefore, power is supplied to the electric bicycle as a power connection part of the battery pack is connected to a power connection terminal of the upper frame. When the battery pack is separated, the power connection terminal is separated from the power connection part, and therefore, the supply of the power is cut off. The frame-embedded battery pack is capable of increasing the capacity of the battery pack by distributing batteries in the frame embedding part and a frame excluding part, and connecting power by inserting the frame embedding part from the rear wheel, and therefore, a large capacity battery pack is applied while a change of the appearance of the bicycle is minimized. |
