RECONFIGURABLE IMAGE SCALING CIRCUIT

摘要

A reconfigurable image scaling circuit includes a horizontal scaling part, a buffer part, and a vertical scaling part. The horizontal scaling part generates horizontally scales input image data and generates horizontal scale image data. The buffer part includes buffers and a mapping unit. The buffers store the horizontal scale image data. The vertical scaling part generates an output image data by vertically scaling the horizontal scale image data, based on a vertical scaling method which generates one column included in the output image data based on reference columns among the columns of horizontal scale image data stored in the buffers. The mapping unit changes a mapping relation between the reference columns and the buffers based on the number of the reference columns.
