The present invention refers to a nutraceutical solution based on blue Agave Tequilana Weber, the method for preparing and using the same in the treatment for relieving symptoms related to hepatic encephalopathy due to hepatic cirrhosis, such as cognitive alterations and low mood. The prebiotic effect of said solution induces the growth of acid-lactic bacteria, which promotes the integrity of the colon intestinal epithelium, reducing the bacterial translocation and increasing the immune response in said patients.
