METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEALING OF JOINTS OF DRILLING RIG MODULES

FIELD: mining.SUBSTANCE: method for sealing of joints of modules consists in preliminary fabrication of the device housing from sheet material in the form of trough-shaped profile with sidewalls and elastic gasket from the inner side of the profile for interaction with surface of the sealed joint. Then the housing is fixed by means of fasteners on the joint formed by stands of modules, which meanwhile form the following: air pocket in the middle part of the profile by fastening of elastic gasket and air pockets on both sides of the joint by fastening along the module stands of guides which outstand over the joint surface and interact with the elastic gasket. On the sidewall ends the sealing elements for interaction with external surface of the joint are placed. Fasteners are fabricated as hinges. Guides are fitted with elastic elements.EFFECT: providing of reliable sealing of joints of drilling rig modules, possibility of repeated mounting-dismantling.6 cl, 4 dwg
