FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: linear displacement sensor comprises a light source and a substrate. The latter has two straight scales in the form of a first and a second row of strips divided by a common conducting plane. The strips are made of a material with a hysteresis resistance-temperature relationship. The rows of strips are displaced from each other by one strip. Each of the latter has a signal output. On the other side of the substrate there is a film-type heater and a film-type thermocouple. Heat-sensitive strips are connected to an analogue switch which enters the interface of the of a measurement system. The height of the light radiation strip is equal to the vertical dimension of double the scale made from heat-sensitive strips. The substrate is placed in a sealed chamber with a transparent side wall, on the upper and lower faces of which there are protrusions with longitudinal grooves. A radiation source is mounted on a moveable carriage, which is able to move on the grooves of the protrusions through spheres in said grooves, which are attached to the upper and lower faces of the carriage.EFFECT: high measurement accuracy owing to mechanical linkage of the sensor with the observation object, obtaining a compact structure which can be used independently in field conditions.3 cl, 4 dwg |
