FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: electric precipitator consists of precipitation electrodes made of tubes and corona electrodes consisting of alternating corona elements and rods. The corona elements are needle-like and by their ends they are fixed to the rods with conic endings. The length of the rods varies within the range from 1 up to 5 diameters of the tube. Tube edges are rounded with the smooth transition from the inner diameter of the tube towards the outer diameter. The rods enter inside the tube to the depth bigger or equal to the tube diameter. The ratio of the inner tube diameter to the rod diameter varies within the range of 10-30.EFFECT: improved charging and precipitation of trapped particles, increase of breakdown voltage in the electric precipitator and an increased degree of gas cleaning by the electric precipitator due to this fact.1 dwg |
