An embodiment according the concept of the present invention relates to a security authentication method of an integrated circuit (IC) card for payment, and, more specifically, to a method capable of authenticating the IC card by using an authentication key stored in a security authentication server and card authentication information transmitted from a mobile communication terminal according to a tagging of the IC card to the mobile communication terminal. The security authentication method of the IC card for payment comprises the steps of receiving card authentication information transmitted from the mobile communication terminal by a security authentication server, as the IC card for payment is tagged to the mobile communication terminal; authenticating the IC card by the security authentication server using an authentication key stored in the security authentication server and the received card authentication information; and transmitting the authentication result of the IC card to the mobile communication terminal by the security authentication server. |
