The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a support band of a fuel tank. According to the present invention, a manufacturing method for a support band of a fuel tank, wherein a coupling hole is formed on both ends or on one end, comprises: a cutting step of cutting a metal plate or a coil continuously supplied to a mold to be in a support band shape; a piercing step of forming a pair of holes spaced from each other at a predetermined distance on both ends or on one end of the support band which is cut in the cutting step; a notching step of forming a notch between the holes formed in the piercing step; a folding step of folding an end of the support band wherein the holes are formed around the notch formed in the notching step; a compressing step of compressing an end of the support band bent and formed in the folding step for the holes to be in contact with each other; and a bending step of bending the support band formed in the compressing step to a predetermined shape.
