According to embodiments described in the present invention, a circuit includes an interface circuit configured to be coupled to a transducer and a detection circuit. The interface circuit is configured to provide a digital output signal to a signal input terminal of a processing circuit. The detection circuit is configured to receive the digital output signal and provide a low power enable signal to a low power enable terminal of the processing circuit. In the various embodiments, the digital output signal is based on a transduced signal from the transducer and the low power enable signal is determined by comparing the digital output signal with a first threshold. |
