Disclosed are a piezoelectric element and a piezoelectric vibrator. The piezoelectric element includes: a plurality of ceramic piezoelectric layers stretched according to the application of power supply; an electrode pattern composed of electrodes alternately stacked with the ceramic piezoelectric layers; and a stretch layer formed on the uppermost electrode surface to protect the uppermost electrode of the electrode pattern and stretched according to the stretch of the ceramic piezoelectric layers to prevent the occurrence of a crack.
