<p>The present invention relates to a chip type coil component and a board for mounting the same. The chip type coil component according to the present invention includes: a main body which is formed by stacking magnetic layers, and satisfies T/W > 1.0, when referring that the length is L, the width is W, and the thickness is T; an internal coil part which is electrically connected to an internal coil pattern formed on the magnetic layers, and is formed in the main body; and an external electrode which is formed on a cross section of the main body and is connected to the internal coil part. The main body has at least one rounded edge in the length, width, and thickness directions of the main body. If the rounded length from the cross section of the main body to the length direction is d, d/w <= 0.03 can be satisfied.</p> |
