PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex protection element capable of protecting a circuit element from not only overvoltage but also overcurrent.SOLUTION: A complex protection element includes: a fusible element 10 connected to fuse terminals 50, 50a provided on a substrate S; a first surface-mounted resistive element 20 and a second surface-mounted resistive element 20a; at least one printed resistive element 25 connected to at least one of the first surface-mounted resistive element and the second surface-mounted resistive element; and a switching element controlling flow of current to the resistive elements if overvoltage is applied. The printed resistive element is disposed just under the first and second surface-mounted resistive elements. The first and second surface-mounted resistive elements are installed side by side on the same plane with the fusible element, and installed side by side on both sides of the fusible element to be separated from each other. |
