主权项 1: A photovoltaic device comprising: a three-dimensional multi-layered photovoltaic cell assembly in the form of a panel with at least a top surface, a bottom surface, a peripheral edge, and a barrier layer; a frame assembly comprising a body portion, wherein the frame assembly at least partially surrounds a portion of the top surface and peripheral edge of the three-dimensional multi-layered photovoltaic cell assembly; at least one electrical connector assembly with a housing, the housing, having an outer surface, wherein the housing of the at least one electrical connector assembly is disposed along an outer edge of the body portion, and the at least one electrical connector assembly is in electrical communication with the three-dimensional multi-layered photovoltaic cell assembly; and an interconnecting structural member which comprises a material with a tensile modulus that is at least 1.25× of a tensile modulus of the body portion, and wherein the interconnecting structural member minimizes strain between the three-dimensional multi-layered photovoltaic cell assembly and the housing of the at least one electrical connector assembly by being at least partially disposed between the barrier layer and the housing of the at least one electrical connector assembly.
