<p>A method for computing metrics in a network comprising at least two layers (II, III), each layer comprising resources and a set of routing costs metrics, one of the two layers being the higher level layer (II) carrying some of its traffic through the use of virtual links, each virtual link using at least one connection of the other layer (III), named lower level layer, said method comprises the step of defining the cost metric of at least one virtual link as a function of at least one characteristic of the at least one connection used by said virtual link.</p> |
