PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for a cooking stove, which performs a satisfactory ignition by eliminating an adverse effect due to a boiled-over soup.SOLUTION: A burner body 2 is equipped with an annular placing part 14 for placing a burner head 3, and an ignition plug storage part 20 for storing an ignition plug 7. The burner head 3 is equipped with an ignition part 35 for covering over the ignition plug 7 and for forming an ignition flame hole 40, and an extension part 36 extending from the burner head 3. Further equipped are a pair of lateral depending wall 44 and front depending wall 45 extending downward from the upper wall of the extension part 36. The lower edge of the lateral depending wall 44 is so inclined as to drop gradually from the base end of the lateral depending wall 44 toward the leading end. |
