<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking system capable of moving a vehicle to a suitable position in accordance with a dimension of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A parking system 100 includes: a conveying carriage for moving an automobile to a prescribed position; a carrying-in and-out device 32 having a holding part for holding wheels of the automobile, and first and second wheel detection sensors 43 and 44 for detecting whether the wheels exist or not, and moved from the conveying carriage to a longitudinal direction of the automobile and capable of being put in and out to and from a lower part of a vehicle body; an encoder 39 and a holding part encoder 42 for measuring a movement distance of the carrying-in and-out device 32; a vehicle detection sensor 20 for detecting passing of the automobile in an end of the conveying carriage; and an apparatus main control section 70 for calculating vehicle dimension information 72 from detection results of the first and second wheel detection sensors 43 and 44 and the vehicle detection sensor 20, and measurement results of the encoder 39 and the holding part encoder 42, which are obtained in movement of the carrying-in and-out device 32, and controlling movements of the carrying-in and-out device 32.</p> |
