The present invention provides a packed body having a filter tow bale composed of cellulose acetate packed in an unsealed state in a packing material, with which stacking is possible and homogeneous tow can be maintained in the same bale. Provided is a packed body having a filter tow bale composed of cellulose acetate packed in an unsealed state in a packing material, the packed body being configured such that: the packed body is in a state where the filter tow bale has been fastened with the packing material; the filter tow bale is a cube or cuboid measuring 800 to 1400 mm long, 800 to 1150 mm wide, and 800 to 1100 mm high; and the initial packing pressure between the top surface of the filter tow bale and the packing material is 6.3 kPa or below. |
