Provided are an optical lens which suppresses an optical axis shift, a lens unit, an imaging module, an electronic device, and a method for producing an optical lens. The present invention involves: preparing a lens array wafer in which a plurality of optical function sections (3) are formed; forming a flange section (4) in the outer-circumferential section of the optical function sections (3); forming a thin section (6) which is thinner than the flange section (4) thickness along the entire outer periphery of the flange section (4); cutting the thin section (6) from the lens array wafer by using a laser (L); causing the surface roughness of a first lateral surface (5A) to be less than that of a second lateral surface (6A); and obtaining a lens unit which suppresses an optical axis shift by causing the first lateral surface (5A) to contact the inner-circumferential surface of a lens barrel, and causing the second lateral surface (6A) to be separated from the inner-circumferential surface of the lens barrel. |
