The invention relates to a method for blocking access to a communication medium (104) implementing a communication standard which forces a third-party device (1021, 1022, 1023, 1024) arranged to implement said communication standard to listen to the communication medium during a listening period, prior to the transmission of data by said third-party device, the transmission being delayed when a signal with higher power than a conventional predetermined power is heard during the listening period, the method comprising: a transmission of a blocking signal by a blocking device.
