<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a carboxylic acid compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group.SOLUTION: The method for separating a carboxylic acid compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group is to be carried out on a mixture comprising a compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group, and a monocarboxylic acid compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group or a dicarboxylic acid compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group, to separate the above carboxylic acid compounds from the mixture. The method comprises: mixing the above mixture, a non-polar solvent containing a fluorine atom, and a polar stationary phase together; separating the compound containing a perfluoro(poly)ether group from the polar stationary phase by using a non-polar mobile phase; and then separating the carboxylic acid compounds from the polar stationary phase by using a polar mobile phase. The non-polar mobile phase comprises a non-polar solvent containing a fluorine atom; and the polar mobile phase comprises a polar solvent containing a fluorine atom, or a combination of a non-polar solvent containing a fluorine atom and a polar solvent containing a fluorine atom, or a combination of a non-polar solvent containing a fluorine atom and a polar solvent containing no fluorine atoms.</p> |
