PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein composition having a free thiol, and a manufacturing method and usage of the same.SOLUTION: The composition (for example, a liquid composition containing protein) described herein has a long period of stability. For example, when the composition is stored in an airtight container under preselected conditions (for example, at a temperature of 2-8°C for 3, 6, 9, 12, or 24 months, or longer in some embodiments), the protein in the composition will keep up at least 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 99, or 100% stability of a prestored level. When used herein, the stability of the protein includes such parameters as a protein structure (for example, minimization or prevention of structural change of the protein including protein aggregation or denaturing such as fragmenting) and/or a biological activity of the protein (for example, an ability to convert the substrate into a product). |
