A polymer, comprising a subunit having the formula: wherein: A is independently hydrogen, C1-10 alkyl, C3-10 alkenyl, C3-10 alkynyl, C3-20 cycloalkyl, C5-20 cycloalkenyl, C5-25 aryl, —OR1, —COOR1, —C(O)R1, —C(O)-halogen, —SR1, —OSO2R1, —CONR1R2, —NR1R2, —N3, or halogen; B is independently C1-10 alkylene, C3-10 alkenylene, C3-10 alkynylene, C3-20 cycloalkylene, C5-20 cycloalkenylene, C5-25 arylene, —COO—, —C(O)—, —S—, —CONR1—, —NR1—, —CH2CH2O—, —O—, or combination of two or more of the foregoing; C is independently C1-10 alkylene, C3-10 alkenylene, C3-10 alkynylene, C3-20 cycloalkylene, C5-20 cycloalkenylene, C5-25 arylene, —COO—, —C(O)—, —S—, —CONR1—, —NR1—, —CH2CH2O—, —O—, or combination of two or more of the foregoing; D is independently C1-10 alkylene, C3-10 alkenylene, C3-10 alkynylene, C3-20 cycloalkylene, C5-20 cycloalkenylene, C5-25 arylene, —COO—, —C(O)—, —S—, —CONR1—, —NR1—, —CH2CH2O—, —O—, or combination of two or more of the foregoing; a is 1; b is independently 0-10; c is independently 1-20; d is independently 0-20; p is greater than 0; R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, C1-10 alkyl, C3-10 alkenyl, C3-10 alkynyl, C3-20 cycloalkyl, C5-20 cycloalkenyl, or C5-25 aryl; and wherein one or more of the alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, alkylene, alkenylene, alkynylene, cycloalkylene, cycloalkenylene, and arylene may independently be branched, unbranched, unsubstituted, substituted, or contain at least one heteroatom. |
