A method and terminal for sharing positioning information are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes that: a first terminal performs positioning to at least two target terminals and obtains the positioning information of the at least two target terminals; the first terminal determines, in the at least two target terminals, a sharing target terminal which is a target terminal agreeing to share the positioning information; and the first terminal transmits to the at least two target terminals the positioning information of at least one sharing target terminal. With the method and terminal for sharing positioning information provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the privacy of positioned terminals can be effectively protected and user experience can be effectively improved.
