PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil scraper ring and an internal combustion engine capable of improving oil scraping performance.SOLUTION: An oil scraper ring 22 is provided around a piston rod of an internal combustion engine, the oil scraper 22 includes hollow regions and solid regions, and a notch 1 is formed in at least each of the solid regions to be cut off from an outer circumferential surface opposite to the piston rod in a central direction. The rigidity of the oil scraper ring 22 can be reduced since a portion where the notch 1 is formed is radially thinner than portions where the notches 1 are not formed. |
