PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor which achieves good adhesiveness for both a collector and a polarizable electrode and is provided with a conductive layer which allows good insensitiveness to an electrolytic solution and is located between the collector and the polarizable electrode.SOLUTION: An electric double layer capacitor 1 includes a separator 2, two polarizable electrodes 3, 3' provided on both sides of the separator 2, and collectors 4, 4' provided at the outer sides of the respective polarizable electrodes 3, 3', and an electrolytic solution L is impregnated in the separator 2 and the two polarizable electrodes 3, 3'. In the electric double layer capacitor 1, DLC conductive intermediate layers 4a, 4a' are formed at the collectors 4, 4', and the polarizable electrodes 3, 3' are bonded to the DLC conductive intermediate layers 4a, 4a'. |
