<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an economical network with a reduced number of interfaces to be disposed in a node constituting a network.SOLUTION: A route setting method includes the steps of: calculating the use rate of each link which is obtained by dividing the traffic amount of each link, which is calculated based on a shortest route between each node in an initial network topology as an origin, by a band per interface, the number of interfaces required for each link, and a total interface number which is the total number of interfaces required for an overall network; generating a network topology after a change in which all links, having the link usage rate smaller than a predetermined minimum link usage rate and the number of links at both end nodes becomes a predetermined number of greater, are deleted as unused links even when the links are deleted; and executing the above steps in repetition while changing the minimum link use rate, so as to search such a route that the total interface number becomes minimum.</p> |
