The present invention suppresses a temperature increase of a transformer. Disclosed is a transformer that is provided with a core, a primary winding wire, and a secondary winding wire. The core has a first core, and a second core that is disposed on a side part of the first core, and the primary winding wire is configured by including a first primary winding wire wound on the first core, and a second primary winding wire, which is wound on the second core, and which is electrically connected to the first primary winding wire in series. The first primary winding wire is disposed such that the direction of a magnetic flux on the inner circumferential side of the first primary winding wire, said magnetic flux being induced by means of the first primary winding wire, is opposite to the direction of a magnetic flux on the inner circumferential side of the second primary winding wire, said magnetic flux being induced by means of the second primary winding wire. The secondary winding wire is wound such that the winding axis line of the first primary winding wire and the winding axis line of the second primary winding wire are formed on the inner circumferential side of the secondary winding wire. |
