PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which can achieve low ESL and can be easily mounted in a circuit board.SOLUTION: An electronic component according to the present embodiment comprises: a first external electrode including a first side electrode provided on a first lateral face and a first principal surface electrode provided on a first principal surface so as to contact a first corner of the first principal surface; and a second external electrode including a second side electrode provided on a second lateral face and a second principal surface electrode which is provided on the first principal surface so as to contact a second corner of the first principal surface located diagonally to the first corner and which is opposite to the first principal surface electrode in a long side direction where a long side of the first principal surface extends. The first principal surface electrode does not contact a long side of the first principal surface on the side opposite to the first side electrode to which the first principal surface electrode is connected. The second principal surface electrode does not contact a long side of the first principal surface on the side opposite to the second side electrode to which the second principal surface electrode is connected. |
