The width (W33) of a discontinuity (33) provided at one circumferential portion of the base (31a) of a yoke (29a) is set to be smaller than the diameter (D22) of a connection pin (22), (W33<D22). Also, one end of the connection pin (22) is provided at a position at which said end is visible through the discontinuity (33) from the outside of the yoke (29a). Thus, a structure is obtained, in which whether or not the connection pin for connecting one end of a torque transmission shaft and one end of a torsion bar has been mounted can be visually confirmed from the outside of the yoke of a universal joint and also in which the axial displacement of the connection pin can be reliably prevented. |
