An AC uninterrupted power supply system (1) comprising: a first power supply line (L1), a second power supply line (L2), a switching relay (3), a converter (4), a power supply switch (5), a fuel cell (6), a system control board (7), a battery (8), and an inverter (9). A system control unit (71) on the system control board (7) switches the switching relay (3) from a first state to a second state, if a determination has been made that power supply from a commercial AC power supply (2) has been interrupted for at least a first time period. The system control unit (71) then determines whether or not the interruption of power supply from the commercial AC power supply (2) has continued for at least a second time period, on the basis of the power state of a first power supply line (L1). Next the system control unit (71) starts stack (100) power generation, if a determination has been made that the interruption of power supply from the commercial AC power supply (2) has continued for at least the second time period. |
