PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material improved in electrical conductivity and having a large capacity, and a power storage device using the same.SOLUTION: The granular electrode material and the power storage device using the same are provided. The granular electrode material has: a nucleus 102 containing as a main component a compound represented by general formula LiMSiO(M is at least one element selected from Fe, Co, Mn, and Ni); a coating layer 104 containing as a main component a compound represented by general formula LiMPOand covering the periphery of the nucleus 102; and a solid solution 106 between the nucleus 102 and the coating layer 104. With such a configuration, the electrode material having high electrical conductivity can be obtained. Further, the power storage device having a large discharge capacity can be obtained by using such an electrode material. |
