PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and inexpensive production method of a Li-Mn-Ni-Co quaternary complex oxide which shows excellent functions of a battery, particularly in cycle characteristics when used as an active substance of a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The production method of a lithium manganese nickel cobalt complex oxide gives a small production amount of a Li-Mn-Ni ternary complex oxide, a Li-Mn-Co ternary complex oxide, and a Li-Ni-Co ternary complex oxide. The quaternary complex oxide is produced by mixing and pulverizing a lithium compound, a manganese compound, a nickel compound, and a cobalt compound so that Li:Mn:Ni:Co becomes in a molar ratio of 3:1:1:1, and then calcining the mixture by irradiation with microwaves in an oxidative atmosphere. |
