PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize setting method or the like which can maintain and improve a user's desire to execute a prize acquisition game.SOLUTION: A prize setting method is the prize setting method in a computer (3) which is provided with a communication part (31) for performing communication with a terminal (2) of a user and executes a game, and comprises the steps of: making a game medium designated in a setting request included in a group of game media given to a user as a prize when receiving from the terminal the setting request of a prize in which at least one of game media owned by the user is designated among game media used in a game; giving at least one game medium among the game media included in the group as a prize to the user when receiving a giving request of a prize from the terminal; and deleting the given game medium from the group.
